The National Conference on Extractives and Human Rights in November 2014 to be held in Nairobi will be a three day event that aim at following up on the Roundtable Discussion on the Extractive Sector and Human Rights, held on 21st May 2014. The conference will focus on developing concrete ways to embed human rights standards in the planning and implementation of all extractive projects in consonance with the values and objects of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.
